Hydro Electric Schemes

Tracey Plant has over 10 years experience in management of specialist hydro electric schemes, providing special access, plant and construction services.

As a rule, the schemes are in remote locations, with little or no access for the specialist and heavy plant required for construction. Additionally with the nature of the watercourses, that need to be diverted, tend to hamper the delivery of projects, however we have an inane ability to read the land, the weather conditions and requirements to ensure the minimum of impact and delay.

These projects need a gentle touch and superior management as the interface with the Client, the Fisheries, Environmental [EPA], Local Authority, Private Land owners, Coillte and SSSi site parties so that we ensure that the projects blend in to the surrounding environment and critical to the success of projects, is not to leave a scarred landscape.
